Traveling around the Philippines often means piecing together several modes of transportation. A trip to an island paradise may involve a bus ride, a van transfer, and a ferry journey—usually requiring separate bookings and careful coordination.

2GO Travel Introduces TraveLink to Connect Sea and Land Journeys Across the Philippines

2GO Travel is looking to make that experience easier by introducing TraveLink, a new multimodal travel service that combines sea and land transportation into a single, seamless itinerary.

Launched on September 3, 2026, TraveLink combines 2GO Travel’s sea routes with connecting bus and van services, allowing passengers to book multiple legs of their journey in a single booking.

Making Multi-Destination Travel Easier

Whether travelers are heading from a major city to an island destination or connecting between provinces, TraveLink is designed to simplify the journey from the moment they leave their point of origin.

Instead of booking a bus, van, and ferry separately—and worrying about how each connection fits into the overall trip—passengers can now arrange their transportation as a single itinerary.

Among the routes currently available through TraveLink are:

The service could prove especially useful for travelers who want to explore destinations located beyond 2GO Travel’s ports, where additional land transportation is needed to reach their final destination.

A Journey That Starts Before the Port

“Travel doesn’t begin at the port—it begins the moment you leave home,” said Francis John Chua, Head of 2GO Travel.

“For years, travelers had to arrange different bookings for every leg of their journey. With TraveLink, we’re bringing those connections together, making it easier for our passengers to travel across the Philippines with greater convenience and confidence.”

For travelers, this means less time switching between booking platforms and transport providers and more time focusing on the actual trip.

Powered by 2GO Travel and 12Go Asia

TraveLink is powered by a partnership between 2GO Travel and 12Go Asia, a travel technology company specializing in multimodal transportation.

By combining 12Go Asia’s booking technology with 2GO Travel’s domestic shipping network, the new platform aims to provide smoother connections between buses, vans, and sea travel.

The Philippines, with its more than 7,000 islands and countless destinations connected by different transportation systems, presents a unique challenge for travelers planning long-distance journeys. A trip that appears simple on a map can involve several transfers between ports, terminals, and provinces.

TraveLink aims to reduce some of that complexity by bringing those connections together into a more convenient booking experience.

A More Connected Way to Explore the Philippines

The launch of TraveLink reflects a growing demand for easier and more connected travel across the archipelago.

For domestic travelers planning holidays and weekend escapes, as well as international visitors exploring destinations beyond major gateways, integrating sea and land transportation into a single itinerary could make planning significantly more convenient.

From the beaches of El Nido and Boracay to the urban attractions of Cebu, the heritage destinations of Bacolod, and the surf culture of Siargao, reaching some of the Philippines’ most popular destinations often requires more than one mode of transportation.

With TraveLink, 2GO Travel hopes to make those journeys feel less complicated and more connected.

As Philippine tourism continues to encourage travelers to explore destinations beyond the usual flight routes, integrated transportation services such as TraveLink could make it easier for more people to experience the country by sea and land.

For travelers who enjoy the journey as much as the destination, TraveLink offers another way to explore the Philippines—one connected itinerary at a time.
