Typhoon Saudel has brought torrential rain, strong winds and severe flooding to Fujian, with Zhangzhou among the hardest-hit areas. Some locations recorded hundreds of millimeters of rain, overwhelming drainage systems and sending floodwaters through streets and residential areas.
