Tianjin was affected by a strong convective storm system that moved across the Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei region. The city experienced heavy rain accompanied by powerful gusty winds that intensified during the storm passage. In several districts, including Binhai, Hedong, Hexi, and Nankai, wind gusts became strong enough to disrupt normal outdoor conditions. Reports from the wider regional weather front indicated that similar winds in the corridor contributed to structural damage such as roof damage, downed trees, and damaged power lines in exposed areas. In Tianjin, the strongest impacts were mainly linked to wind bursts, which caused trees to sway heavily and led to localized disruptions in utilities and traffic. Visibility dropped during intense rain bands, while debris and falling branches temporarily affected some streets.
