The US defence secretary has boasted of a "red, white and blue" air defence "dome" offering 24/7 protection over the Strait of Hormuz. Asked about the "dome" that Pete Hegseth claims is in place, Sky's security and defence analyst Michael Clarke says it's an example of "sixth-generation warfare" which uses AI and robotics to accomplish military goals. He tells presenter Jayne Secker: "This isn't just a dome against missiles coming in; it's a dome which would target ships: any Iranian ships, any boats, any submarines."
