This week a massive iceberg floated into webcam view at Ilulissat on the west coast of Greenland (red arrow on map below ). The iceberg was so massive that it filled the camera screen.
Greenland map from WikimediaIn less than three hours — from 5:03am to 7:47am — it collapsed, flipped and largely disintegrated. Then its remnants floated away.

It’s amazing and a little scary to watch something that big move so fast. The birds are unperturbed.
