Greetings everyone!!

This tutorial will consist of a series of short videos produced by the NHC in Miami, FL.  The videos are a few years old (10 – 14), and cover some past seasons / storms, and probably contain some past NHC employees, as well as former DHS Secretary John Kelly.  There are a total of 7 videos from the NHC, and one from DHS.  The videos from the NHC will briefly cover topics such as overview of a hurricane, storm surge, wind, etc.  The videos from the NHC do not necessarily go through preparation procedures, however contain good information regarding various aspects of hurricane threats.  When new videos become available, I will save the files for updating and replacing the current ones during next seasons (2027) tutorial.  A new video page from the NHC has been included (Tropical Cyclone Video series).

The link, Ocean Today, contains a total of 10 videos, with the final 3 being more cartoon in nature.  However the first 7 have good information on different aspects of hurricanes.
