900+ foot high lava fountains erupted at Kilauea yesterday, and a long term lava lake returned to Kilauea's summit. This occurred as part of Kilauea's now 51st eruptive episode on the Big Island of Hawaii, which has been undergoing episodic activity since December 23rd of 2024.
