The judge had been told twice that the jury hasn't been able to come to a decision. Kevin Reddington, Lindsay Clancy's lawyer, has put in an objection to the judge's decision. "I request that we have further inquiry," Reddington says. "My motion is to remove this juror that refuses to listen to your instruction and reasonable doubt." The judge says his remarks regarding "reasonable doubt" were "just specifically responding to the specific question that was asked". The judge adds the defendant's objection is "noted" and the court is again in recess.
