For travelers, 2027 offers six natural long weekends based on holidays that fall on Saturdays or Sundays. These are ideal opportunities for quick domestic getaways, staycations, family trips, and international vacations.

February 25, 2027, Thursday, will be observed as a special working day in observance of the 41st anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution.

This means February 25 will not provide an additional day off from work.

January 1 to 3, 2027: New Year’s Day

Friday to Sunday, 3 days

The year starts with a three-day weekend. New Year’s Day falls on Friday, January 1, followed by the regular Saturday and Sunday weekend.

March 25 to 28, 2027: Holy Week

August 28 to 30, 2027: National Heroes Day
