In Morocco, recent days have seen heavy and prolonged rainfall, causing localized flooding in northern, central, and southern regions of the country. The most significant floods were recorded in the provinces of Agadir Ida-Outanane, Essaouira, Beni Mellal–Khenifra, and along the Atlantic coast, where water inundated streets, roads, and low-lying neighborhoods. In northern cities, including Tangier, Tetouan, and Chefchaouen, intense rain was accompanied by rapid runoff and localized floods, disrupting traffic and municipal services. Meteorologists forecast continued unstable weather with more heavy rains, while authorities continue to monitor water levels and warn residents of flooding risks.
