Orgo-Life the new way to the future Advertising by AdpathwayFrom Shelter Pup to Social Media Star: Tiki’s Mission to Help Other Dogs
In Paxton, Massachusetts, a once-timid rescue dog named Tiki has transformed his heartbreaking past into a mission of hope for animals everywhere.

Tiki’s journey began in New York, where the shy Chihuahua mix was surrendered to the ASPCA. His foster mom, Isabel Klee (@simonsits on TikTok), began sharing gentle videos of his progress. Viewers watched in real time as patience, kindness, and trust helped Tiki overcome his fears. His transformation captured the hearts of thousands, and by the time he was ready for adoption, he had a growing online fanbase cheering him on.

That’s when Aubrie and Vince D’Angelo saw his story. “He had come up to us and let us pet him,” Vince shared. “Those small things meant so much, especially since he hadn’t really done that with strangers.” They knew Tiki belonged with them.
At first, Tiki retreated to hiding spots in his new home, but with patience, his curiosity began to outweigh his fear. “He was cautious, but he was curious,” Aubrie said. “That curiosity unlocked his progress.”

The D’Angelos continued sharing his updates on their own TikTok and Instagram accounts, @tikiplustwo. Within just 24 hours of posting, Tiki had nearly 400,000 followers. Today, he has more than half a million, and instead of just spotlighting Tiki, his family uses his platform to help others. Each month, they highlight a new rescue group, sharing wish lists, fundraising needs, and promoting adoptable dogs still waiting for homes.

“We didn’t adopt a dog thinking he’d have over half a million followers,” Aubrie explained. “But because he does, we’re able to shine the light on other dogs who need it.”
Now, Tiki lives happily with his siblings, Meyer and Gaia, full of confidence and joy. His story — from a frightened shelter pup to a beloved online star — has become a beacon of hope and compassion.

“It’s been the most rewarding thing we’ve ever done,” Aubrie said. “Now I feel like we’re on a mission to help as many dogs as we can, because that’s what Tiki would want.”
Tiki’s journey is a reminder that when a dog is given patience, love, and a chance, they don’t just heal — they can inspire the world.
