Wes Streeting is preparing to resign, allies of the health secretary have told Sky News. It's after Streeting attended a meeting with the prime minister in Downing Street. It was a short meeting, with Streeting leaving the building 16 minutes after he arrived, without speaking to reporters. More than 90 Labour MPs have publicly called for the prime minister to design, whilst more than 100 have signed a letter backing him. Starmer joked about leadership plotting and attacks by Tory leader Kemi Badenoch in his response to the King's Speech, which set out more than 35 bills the government plans to introduce during this parliamentary session.
