Good day everyone!
If anyone has any questions regarding tropical systems, please feel free to email me at the email address at the end of the synopsis. Please title it WEATHER QUESTION.
The following changes have been made. The forecast center is still closed on Sunday, and will be closed on Saturday as well (unless there is a threat from a tropical system). Please refer to the Storm Prediction Center for severe weather information.

The following is the ECMWF EPS Cyclone Formation Probabilities forecast during the next 3 – 7 days.
ECMWF EPS CYCLONE PROBABILITY 24 – 72 HOURS

72 – 120 HOURS
120- 168 HOURS
ECMWF EPS MEMBER WISE MSLP
Analysis of the cyclone formation probability models indicates a slight increase in probability, with the model now indicating approximately a 20% – 30% probability north of the Panama area in about 5 – 6 days.
At the moment, models do not indicate tropical development per se’ during the next 5 days, however the 3 global models still indicate lowering MSLP anomalies over the Gulf and Bahamas area possibly associated with a low that is forecast to move across the southern portion of the U.S., with the models indicating low pressure at various locations. The ECMWF Ens. Member Wise MSLP anomalies forecast currently indicates various areas of low pressure as well. While this does not mean any definite tropical development, and the solutions could even be anomalous, I will continue monitoring the SEUS, Gulf, and W. Caribbean during the next 5 – 7 days. In association with the low that is forecast to move across the southern U.S., the SPC is indicating a SLIGHT risk for severe weather on Mon. IF there is nothing occurring in the tropics, I may be posting a severe weather synopsis.
