LOS ANGELES — Two Los Angeles firefighters were injured when their apparatus was involved in a crash while responding to a structure fire, the Los Angeles Fire Department said in a statement.
Both firefighters sustained minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital for evaluation.

No members of the public were injured, according to the department.
The firefighters’ names were not released pending family notification. The department asked the public and media to respect the privacy of the firefighters and their families.
The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the crash.
