Since June 3rd 2024, the Kanlaon volcano in the Philippines has produced 6 major explosive eruptions. While only moderate sized in terms of world volcanoes, these collectively represented the largest eruptions Kanlaon has produced in historical times. Today's video showcases each of the 6 major explosions, with 2 occurring in 2024, 2 in 2025, and 1 in 2026. You can even see a distinct pyroclastic flow during the daytime in one of these video clips.
