Pick up a copy of Texas Gardener magazine‘s Sept/Oct 2025 issue, and you’ll find an article I wrote about how to make a more resilient garden. These strategies were ones I saw in action in the gardens featured in my upcoming book, Gardens of Texas.

“Where Resilience Takes Root” starts on page 30 of the magazine. It’s accompanied by photos from the book, taken by the talented Kenny Braun.
