Richard Tice has defended his party's plans to reach a deal with regimes who breach human rights legislation. Mr Tice, the party's deputy leader, said he would pay the Taliban to take back those migrants who had fled the country - "but he wouldn't go down the pub with them". He also defended the party's plans to deploy the Navy to the Channel to act as a "deterrent" to small boats.
