Katrin Ivanova, Vanya Gaberova, Biser Dzhambazov, Orlin Roussev, Ivan Stoyanov and Tihomir Ivanov Ivanchev were convicted in March for their part in one of the largest and most complex spy networks on British soil between 2020 and 2023. The Crown Prosecution Service said each person played a role in a variety of operations across Europe on behalf of the Russian state.
