Donald Trump's Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff has visited one of the controversial sites that distributes aid to Gazans. Nearly 900 Palestinians are reported to have been killed while trying to collect food from the Israeli and US-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) locations. Mr Witkoff said he wanted to get a "clear understanding of the humanitarian situation and help craft a plan to deliver food and medical aid to the people of Gaza". The IDF has been accused of shooting Palestinians waiting for aid - it says its soldiers only fire warning shots.
