She said the decision is 'great news' and it is 'the right thing to do.' Although Shadow Foreign Secretary, Dame Priti Patel said now 'is not the right time' to recognise a Palestinian state, Thornberry said it is the right time to do so, as Israel 'is run by a far-right government.'
